The ventilator grid is manufactured from PBT and is resistant to UV rays. It's compatible with common sealants and impervious to acetic acids.
It is also, says Plastimo, resistant to distortion resulting from hygrometry fluctuations.
The hose adaptor has a louvred opening to prevent heavy seas getting into the hose and the boat interior. It also has two steps, one for 70mm hose and one for 3" hose.
Manufactured from polypropylene, it's shock resistant and impervious to acetic acids. The adaptor can be used to attach a hose to the ventilator grill - as in our picture - or to help support a hose along a bulkhead.
