Boarding over the bow is no fluke

German hardware company, Niro-Petersen, has produced a new bow ladder that, it says, gives more comfort when leaving or boarding the boat.
The stainless steel ladder fastens to the anchor flukes, offering an easy and secure step over the flukes - essential, we would have thought, for returning to the boat after a good night out.
The company says it has 52 types of ladder for different anchor types. The ladders fit anchors from 24lbs to 75lbs, plough, delta and Bruce.
Suggested retail prices start at 235,01 - the price quoted is exworks at Flensburg and ex-tax.
