Hatch lifts for heavy loads

Lenco Marine says its unique ballscrew design Electric Hatch Lift is able to push or pull heavy loads and remain locked in the desired position.

The hatch lifts are easy to install with just a single power cable. They deliver over 227kgs of push or pull, while drawing just 5amps of power.

Available in 12 and 24V versions, Lenco says the lifts are ideal for heavy engine covers, decks, large hatches and electric consoles.

The lifts come in many size options, including HL-400, which is 38 cm retracted, 48 cm extended and has a 10 cm stroke, through HL-2400 at 104 cm retracted, 165 cm extended with a 60 cm stroke.

In case of a power failure, the lifts have two clevis pins at the mounting bracket. To pull the pin out if the hatch is closed, it must be rigged to a point outside of the hatch. An optional stainless steel slide bracket, HLSB, allows the hatch to open 15 cm if a power outage occurs.
