The result, they say, is the award winning Dubarry outsole design.

Modelled on the car tyre, the design consists of a series of interconnecting channels to allow water to be dispersed away from the point of impact in several different directions simultaneously, rather than trapping pockets of water as conventional razor cut soles do.

The Dubarry outsole is featured on all new designs in the Aquasport collection, including Conquest, the sporty moccasin, and Waterline for ladies, on Shamrock yachting boots, Ultima and Seaquest from the waterproof and technical collection.
