It features a 3.8-inch diagonal, 480 x 320 pixel, 256colour TFT, Sunlight Viewable screen with adjustable LED backlight for easy sunlightreadability.
The unit measures 5.7" wide x 3.2" high x 1.9" deep and comes with an adjustable marine mounting bracket. It will store up to 3,000 user waypoints, 50 reversible routes (1,200 waypoints per route) and has a 10,000 point automatic track log with 15 saved tracks.
Position formats include Lat/Lon, UTM, Loran TDs, Maidenhead, MGRS, user and more. It will provide a course deviation indicator when navigating, project your position on the map with the configurable complex heading line and has built-in tide tables and celestial tables for sun and moon calculations.
It also has alarms for anchor drag, arrival, off-course, proximity waypoint and clock and is water resistant to IEC 60529 IPX7 standards (submersible in one metre of water for 30 minutes).
In addition to built-in basemap detail, the GPSMAP 276C accepts data from MapSource CD-ROMs, including BlueChart for offshore detail and City Select for street-level maps. City Select is included in an optional automotive navigation accessory pack.
The 276C comes with USB interface cable, power/data cable, marine mount, Trip & Waypoint Manager CD, rechargeable lithium-ion battery, AC adapter, owner's manual, quick reference guide.
