Mirabella V sets sail

The massive Ron Hollanddesigned Mirabella V hasfinally set sail. With a full complement of heavies on board - including owner Joe Vittoria, Ron Holland, Julian Smith from High Modulus, sailmaker Robbie Doyle and project manager Paul Johnson - the boat used the calm day for systems testing.

According to a report in the Daily Telegraph , Mirabella V could be as much as £20 million over budget. Dockside gossip puts her closer to £14m, but only VT and Joe Vittoria know the real figure.
