Two new service managers have joined British Waterways' Central Shires and South East.
Jon Oakes, right, the new service manager for Central Shires Waterways, sharpened his customer service skills at Bass. He was involved firstly in pub management, with responsibility for a 25-pub district, and then in marketing, developing concepts and brands for pubs and evaluating investment proposals.
Murray Geddes, left, brings his service experience within both the private and public sectors to South East Waterways. Most recently as head of museum services for Birmingham City Council, he Anne Vaudray has joined Lewmar in the aftermarket sales department to take charge of marine equipment sales in southern Europe.
Vaudray, whose native language is French, was previously with Sea Sure, and is the current RS 200 National Champion, so she brings a strong combination of sailing talent and marine industry experience to the company.
Russell Dew has joined the boat sales team at Walton Marine's Upton upon Severn base. Dew has 20 years sales experience and a lifelong love of boats and boating.
