Fischer Panda E-Tec enables integration

With 100% water cooling of both engine and alternator, they say the company's AC generators will supply the rated output, whatever the ambient temperature.
Power management using the new E-Tec system enables complete integration with onboard AC systems. The E-Tec control can be programmed to switch off low priority loads when short term immediate demand would cause the total load to exceed the generator rating. This, in turn, leads so accurate matching of the generator size to the vessel's requirements.
Intrinsically safe asynchronous generators offer an extremely clean sine wave form and the built-in reactive current compensation (RCC) can produce up to 120% of the nominal performance for starting larger electric motors.
Fischer Panda has promoted the use of high output DC generators for 10 years and leads the way in this field of power generation.
The company's AGT 4000/24v generator - shown here - has been standard fit on Severn and Trent class lifeboats for many years. They say it's ideally suited for more modest AC requirements when the primary need is to charge batteries.
