C&N powerboat passes sea trials
01 Sep 2004
Camper & Nicholsons Yachting's first new boat since the company became part of Leonardo Ferragamo's Nautor Group has successfully passed its sea trials.
The C&N Endeavour 42 is a 14.0m motorboat powered by twin Yanmar 440hp diesels that should give her a top speed of close to 40kts.
The deep-V hull, which incorporates Kevlar and carbon fibre, was laminated with the SP's SPRINT resin infusion system, and the interior joinery has been handcrafted in mahogany.
Unfortunately the boat won't be at Southampton, with C&N preferring instead to launch it at the Genoa Boat Show in October.
