Squadron's £1m pontoons

In Cowes, the Royal Yacht Squadron is going to spend more than £1m on a new pontoon arrangement, a sort of mini marina on the Parade, writes Iain Sutherland.
The new pontoon arrangement will be for the use of Squadron members, but they say they will let others use it for special events.
Meanwhile the Cowes harbour commission is going to build a public pontoon a little further upstream, but still on the parade.
