The Employment Rights Act 1996 provides employees with a general right not to be unfairly dismissed. But, say Jonathan Exten-Wright and Eleanor Winslet , in addition to these statutory rights the employee may also have a right to bring a wrongful dismissal claim if their contract of employment is breached
