SEEDA offers space at Marchwood
01 Aug 2005
With two slipways, the site has direct access to Southampton Water and is close to both the M27 and M3 motorways.
SEEDA has been managing the slipways to keep them operational but hopes to set up a joint venture development that will attract an influx of marine-related companies to make best use of the site and its valuable slipways.
"We not only want to maximise the use of the slipways, but create a location where marine industry can flourish, " said Ken Glendinning, SEEDA's head of land and property. "By selecting the right joint venture partner, we are confident that we can turn this largely redundant site into a vibrant marine quarter where companies can prosper."
