Harken adds 75mm Straphead

Harken has added the 75mm Straphead Double to its growing family of Big Boat AirBlocks. At a lightweight 19.2oz (545 g), Harken says this strong, versatile block is ideal for boom-end 2:1 mainsheet systems on race boats like the Farr 40 and TP52.
It attaches onto the boom with webbing or soft attachment LOUPS and can be reeved perpendicular or parallel to the boom. Straps articulate under load and offer significant weight savings.
Like all AirBlocks, Straphead Doubles have low-friction caged Torlon roller bearings.
Aluminium sheaves and sideplates are deep-saturation Hardkote-anodised for strength and durability and UV stabilised with a black additive for maximum protection.
