Buy-in at Super Spars

Fareham based Super Spars has been bought by businessmen Simon Bevan and Richard Waller who have completed a management buyin from founder Ken Brackwell, writes Iain Sutherland.

Brackwell, 53, sold off the majority of his shares in the firm because he wants to take life easier.

"Our aim is to take the business to the next level, " said Bevan. "The potential for the business is enormous and we are very excited about the opportunities before us for expansion, particularly internationally."

Super Spars, which has four staff and an annual turnover close to £1m, exports about 65% of its output.
