Wolter Huisman

Wolter Huisman, the man behind the Dutch shipyard Royal Huisman, died on Friday December 24 at his home in Vollenhove, Nether - lands. He was 73.
The yard was famous for some world-renown boats, from Flyer, the Whitbread Round-the-World-Race winner for Cornelius van Rietschoten, to the extraordinary Athena for the Netscape Navigator founder, John Clarke.
Huisman was a perfectionist who produced some of the world's finest boats. He will be missed.
