Isolate and protect

The company says US marinas suffer from less than uniform power. Some docks have good, clean power whereas others have voltage fluctuations and dirty power.
There are also electrolysis issues says the company.
The isolation transformers completely isolate the boat from shore eliminating shore-side power hazards and in water shock potentials. They also eliminate galvanic corrosion and polarity issues, meaning, says Charles, there is no need to use a galvanic isolator or polarity alarm onboard.
Charles says almost all of the major US builders within the 40-85ft range are putting isolation transformers on the boats.
The builders gets peace of mind: they know that after the boat is purchased and moves from port to port to port, the boat will be getting clean power and the ever expensive onboard electrical and electronic systems will be protected.
Charles says European builders are beginning to install isolation transformers on boats being exported to the US and that, Sunseeker and Princess are using the company's isolation transformers.
The Iso-Boost shown here has all of the features of the isolation transformers outlined above, in addition it has the ability to sense the voltage at the dock and if needed to increase it by 15%. This protects boats with air conditioning, refrigeration or other motor driven equipment by ensuring the motors get the proper voltage, saving burn outs and failures.
Charles says it's the only company to offer this product that's available in 50, 60 and 100amp units, 12, 15 and 24Kva respectively.
