Sealine: profits down, turnover up

UK motorboat builder and wholly owned Brunswick subsidiary, Sealine International, reports an operating profit of £6.25 million for the year ending December 31, 2003.

While this figure is slightly down on the restated profit of £6.26 million in 2002, the company reports a consolidated turnover of £61.6 million for the periods, up on sales of £56.1 million in 2002.

The directors said they were "pleased with these results", and the company "plans to continue its focused policy of developing and launching new models during the forthcoming year".

In the 12 months to December 31, the number of employees had risen to 607 from 551 in 2002.
