Success at Plymouth Show

The first Plymouth Sail and Power Show held at the MDLowned Queen Anne's Battery Marina over the recent May Day Bank Holiday weekend drew over 4,500 visitors.

Exhibitors reported good sales, quality visitors and a great atmosphere in which to trade and the show was judged to be so successful that it will now be an annual event at Queen Anne's Battery.

"We were pleased to welcome so many visitors to Queen Anne's Battery. My thanks go out to all of my colleagues and exhibitors who have worked so hard to achieve this great weekend, " said marina manager and show organiser, Nicola Walsh.

Visitors enjoyed events such as displays from Zapcat racing teams and Viper Jet Boats, along with wakeboarding action and hovercraft demonstrations. The exhibitors showed new and used boats, RIBs and luxury vehicles.

The 2006 show will take place over the bank holiday weekend from Saturday April 29 to Monday May 1. Further information from Nicola Walsh on 01752 671142.
