Ben Ainslie in court action over £50k claim

Olympic gold medal winning yachtsman, Ben Ainslie, is facing court action for more than £50,000 damages after being involved in a car crash with a cyclist.
The cyclist was seriously hurt in the crash, for which Ainslie has apparently admitted liability. The accident happened in January 2003 on the Itchen Bridge roundabout in Southampton.
The cyclist, Ian Ray, is claiming more than £50,000 for serious head injuries he sustained in the collision.
Ainslie is currently in New Zealand working on the NZ America's Cup challenge.
