Low profile bimini hinge from C-Quip

The American Accon Marine company has introduced a new bimini hinge. They say the 415 bimini hinge provides a secure hold for bimini tops without the hassle of awkward pins and screws.

Its quick-release mechanism holds bimini straps down tightly and releases with the touch of a button. The 415 hinge is made from 316 stainless and consists of a base, which mounts flush to the rail, and a hinge, which secures the bimini straps.

They say installation of the 415 bimini hinge is fast and easy, requiring no cut outs.

Using two No 10 screws, it can be quickly mounted to the deck of any boat.

The 415 hinge measures 9.2 cm long x 3 cm wide and weighs 122 grams.
