The Rutgerson 1580 full batten receptacle is suitable for boats up to approximately 36ft in length. It's manufactured from a lightweight UV resistant composite material. Battens can be easily inserted and tensioned via the receptacle itself, thus removing the need for bulky and unsightly leech end fittings.

The batten tension can be checked via a small "tension window" on the side of the fitting. It has a small channel for overhead leechline solutions and can be used with M10 threaded battcars, such as the Rutgerson 1530 series battcars.

Whilst designed to work with Bluestreak and RBS battens, it can also be used with 30mm flat battens and up to 10mm diameter rod battens.

The Rutgerson 1530-20 battcar is a new slide specifically designed for the new Selden C mast profile. This new battcar complements the rest of the 1530 battcar range. All are manufactured from a unique low friction composite plastic with a variety of adaptors to suit the majority of receptacles available in the market.
