  • Builders OK, retailers not so happy

    Brian Peters said it best: "The economic indicators were not particularly favourable before the show." It seems the boatbuilders fared well, but some retailers found life rather more difficult, says Peter Nash

The forthcoming International Boatbuilders Exhibition and Conference (IBEX) in Miami is a classic example with its theme of "from design through delivery". Where else can those in our industry whose responsibility it is to draw, hammer, screw, impregnate (resin that is) etc, go to be regally entertained and educated?
