Rod Carr, chief executive of the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) travelled to Buckingham Palace last month to receive his OBE from the Queen. Carr received his honour in recognition of his services to sailing. "It is a great honour to be recognised for my work in a sport in which I have spent many fulfilling years and love dearly, " he said.
