Callus leaves Navimo UK

We spoke to Herve Ferrier, Navimo Group sales and marketing vice president, who told us: "We left each other in very good terms and found a mutual agreement, which is our style, and in these kind of circumstances it's best to have a quick termination and that's it."
The market has not been very good and the results we got are below group expectations, Ferrier added.
"But what we have done is to cancel the managing director's position in the UK in order to realign our British subsidiary organisation with all the other European subsidiaries."
According to Ferrier, Navimo subsidiaries are managed by a sales vice president or general manager and not by a managing director. "We are really aligning the UK operation with the other subsidiaries, " he said.
Ross Wilkinson was appointed acting general manager of Navimo UK as of Friday, September 30.
"Our fiscal year started on the Saturday and we thought that having this kind of clear cut end of the 2005 season would be a good thing for everybody."
