Malcolm Gardiner

Malcolm Gardiner, the founder of MG Boats, passed away just before the Southampton Boat show.
He was in San Sebastian, Spain, with his family celebrating the wedding of his daughter Fiona when he was taken ill. He underwent major heart surgery which was successful; but sadly succumbed to complications and died a few days later. He leaves a wife Barbara, daughters Sarah and Fiona and four grandchildren.
His funeral took place on 28th of September in North Walsham, Norfolk.
