Silva group launches new marine subsidiary

"Silva Group's marine business has expanded substantially over recent years, " commented Silva Nexus Marine chief operating officer, Tony Kent. "The new company structure recognises this growth and brings together the critical functions within a single entity, allowing us to address the needs of our customers in the most efficient and effective way possible."
The new subsidiary will continue to draw on the group for support functions including finance, purchasing, production planning and personnel, said Kent, giving us substantial cost efficiencies while allowing us to concentrate on our core business of developing new products and servicing our client base.
Overseas subsidiaries, including Silva Ltd in the UK, will be unaffected by the new structure. Those that distribute and service both marine and outdoor Silva products will continue to do so and current arrangements with customers will continue without disruption.
