Trade show returns Boating Business Exhibition to run next February at BIC

The parent company of Boating Business - Mercator Media Ltd (MML) - reached an agreement with the British Marine Federation (BMF) and National Boat Shows Limited (NBS) shortly before the Southampton Boat Show over the future of the UK's leisure marine trade event.

MML will organise and produce the Boating Business Exhibition (BBEx) with the endorsement and support of the BMF and its group association the Marine Trades Association.

Following a review of the market place and extensive market research that examined both location and timing, it has been decided the Boating Business Exhibition will be held on February 22 to 23, 2006 at the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC).

The BIC is a permanent and dedicated exhibition centre with excellent travel connections from all parts of the UK and mainland Europe. The revised timing reflects the changes that have occurred with purchasing patterns and other competitive events.

BMF members will be offered preferred rates to exhibit in line with previous exhibitions.

Mercator Media is a dedicated business-to-business media company that publishes a range of marine related trade magazines including Boating Business and Maritime Journal.

MML also produces the annual Seawork commercial marine exhibition.
