Goss makes a comeback
01 Apr 2006
Pete Goss, who sprang to global fame after rescuing Rafael Dinelli in the 1996/7 Vendee Globe and was then rescued himself when his radical Team Philips broke up while attempting to qualify for The Race in 2000 is making a return to racing.
Recent reports have him teaming up with Australian, Paul Larsen, to race a Seacart 30 trimaran in this summer's Shetland Round Britain & Ireland Race.
Larsen is himself no stranger to the spotlight with his Sail Rocket campaigns to break the 50knot barrier in a series of radical boats.
