Investors in People (IiP) is the national standard for organisational excellence in improving performance through people and Saltwater was praised for "outstanding ethos" and "quality service to their clients".
Saltwater is one of the best companies that the assessor has had the privilege of assessing in a long time in terms of its culture and commitment to investing in people, said the assessment. Managing director Georgina Bartlett spearheaded the initiative over the last 12 months and is delighted with the recognition.
"Our business has doubled in the last five years and we identified the need to invest in our own company structure and personnel to ensure we are equipped to sustain our current level of business and take on planned future growth, " she told BB.
Saltwater was founded in 1991 by directors Clive and Georgina Bartlett and celebrates its 15th Anniversary this year. Based in Poole it employs a staff of 14.
