British Marine Federation responds to Marine Bill

The need for clarity and simplicity are the main calls from the British Marine Federation (BMF) in its submission to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) on the marine bill.

Dr Banham: simplified and clearer system

The submission follows the BMF's appearance in front of the Environmental Audit Committee, alongside the Sea Users Group. The committee questioned the BMF on its concerns, focusing in particular on the challenges facing small businesses and also the problems in relation to devolution.
