Government launches consultation on WEEE proposals

Malcolm Wicks, Energy Minister, last month gave business a clear timetable for implementing the EC Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).
Wicks: UK generating around 1m tonnes a year
The government has launched a consultation on the key proposals to be introduced from July 1, 2007.
