Nice result at Bowling

Spend £1.5m on renovation of a rather derelict canal terminus basin, and you get a rather nice result, writes Mike Balmforth.
British Waterways (BW) Scotland has been planning this bit of work for about five years, realising that the western entrance to the Forth & Clyde was something of poor advertisement for the waterway and also that there was business out there, waiting for better facilities.
