Jeanneau pull-out
French yacht builder Jeanneau staged a last-minute pull-out form the London International Boat Show. Ronald Scott of Euroyachts told BB Jeanneau had decided one major boat show per country would be quite sufficient.
Now there’s a thought, eh?
Mermaid snared!
Cyril Snare planned to bring in ‘younger blood’ after his management buy-out of Mermaid Marine Engines.
The Marine Trades Personality of the Year Award went to Brian Peters, of Fairline distributor B A Peters.
And Tony Robertshaw, formerly of Blakes Paints, had just been appointed as OE sales executive at Aqua-Marine.
