Goody two shoes for the ladies

Dubarry of Ireland launched two new ladies’ deck shoes at METS. The Seychelles is a two-eye tie shoe, while the Aruba – shown here - adds a fashionable twist to the traditional slip-on ladies’ deck shoe with its tasselled lace knot.

Both styles are available in trendy new colourways – from lavender and sky blue through to traditional navy, brown and coffee coloured leather.

A key feature, and one which will appeal to wearers, say Dubarry, is the comfort factor of these shoes, which has been created by using specially treated super-soft leathers and nubuck, as well as detailed technological design within the shoe, which includes a hidden cushioned heel cup and leather insock.

The extra comfort – both in initial feel and after use on and off the water – comes from the nubuck and leather being tanned with Dubarry’s unique Dry Fast-Dry Soft leather. Absorbing less water even when fully immersed, and drying quickly to maintain their softness, these shoes feel good as soon as they are put on, says Dubarry, and stay that way – even after the harshest use.

The outsole features Dubarry’s unique Non-Slip Non-Marking outsole, which features a series of interconnecting channels that disperse water from the point of impact to ensure the highest quality grip at all times.

Seychelles and Aruba are both available in navy and espresso leather, and in stone, sky blue, lavender, navy and coffee nubuck. Both styles are available in European sizes 35-42.
