MSE aims to shared CNC costs

Marine South East, part of the South East England Development Agency (SEEDA) has been working for the last few months on a shared facility programme to allow companies to build moulds for boats more efficiently, writes Iain Sutherland.

The idea is to buy a five-axis CNC milling machine that members of Marine South East could share. The location for the facility and the final specification for the CNC milling machine is still to be determined in consultation with the initial members. Once agreed, a detailed business plan can be completed.

A prospectus about the project is now available and can be obtained from sarah@marinesoutheast.co.uk
