52nd London Boat Show closes 30k under target

The final show press release from organisers National Boat Shows (NBS) said: "The tube strike and confidence in London as a destination following 7/7 had impacted on attendance early on although numbers improved later on in the week with some days showing a marked improvement on the previous year."
Brian Peters, chairman of NBS explained that general public attendance had improved significantly although trade attendance had declined slightly - by some 15,000 over the 2004 show.
