Lewmar stretches power for the same size

Like all the models in the Stretch range, the L65 incorporates "stretched" power ratios to give more power to the user without increasing the overall size of the winch via the 3.1 and 15.3:1 gear ratios.
Available in both manual and electric versions, purchasers can also choose between alloy and chrome finishes.
The Stretch winch range has been introduced to meet the demands of boatbuilders and owners focused on the 32' (10m) to 80' (24m) range, achieving highly competitive pricing without any compromise in quality or durability.
Builders will be able to obtain purpose-designed winch packages from the world's leading manufacturer with fresh new models available for every application. The new L65 replaces the outgoing L64 - giving more power for the same price of the older model.
UK list prices start at £1,848 ex VAT for the alloy L65, rising to £2,048 ex VAT for the chrome option.
