Origo offers smaller alcohol stoves

Dometic Origo is introducing a new line of smaller, compact alcohol and electric stovetops for the marine industry.

The new stovetops are available in single and dual-burner configurations and include alcohol-only and alcoholelectric models, with or without glass lid. They have a built-in 12V lighter for the alcohol burners, and incorporate Origo's unique alcohol filling mechanism that simplifies refuelling and minimises spills.

The unpressurised system uses natural capillary action to draw the alcohol from the storage receptacle to the surface.

The one-burner stoves are 34% smaller and the twoburner units are 22% smaller than existing models.

The new compact stovetop units will give boatbuilders more flexibility in designing galley spaces and are also designed to be easier to install and use.
