Plimsoll says its analysis has looked at the leading 600 UK boat repair and maintenance companies and assessed each one on its commercial and financial strength. They say 60 companies have been identified as the best to do business with, based on their outstanding sales growth and overall financial strength.

"This service is all about helping sales teams to work smarter, " said David Pattison, Plimsoll's senior research analyst. "The point of the analysis is to build a client base of high calibre companies with outstanding future prospects."

Over the last two years, these 60 companies have increased sales by a minimum of 5%, ensuring instant extra business for their suppliers, while 32 of them have also maintained a healthy balance sheet so credit terms should be guaranteed. For 18 of these companies, this is their 3rd year of consecutive growth, says Plimsoll.

The full analysis contains a five year financial profile of every company. It also gives the principle trading address, telephone number, key decision makers and website address.
