Derek Moore - Obituary

Derek Moore passed away suddenly from a severe stroke on October 5.
His working life was virtually devoted to the marine industry. After a two year period as an apprentice at Westland Helicopters he joined the RAF Marine section. On leaving the RAF he joined Wills Brothers (Marine Sales) Ltd and soon became its manager. In 1987 he moved to Winters Marine of Salcombe, where he reorganised the engineering section to his exacting standards. He remained with Winters until his retirement in 2002.
