British Waterways Marinas Limited recently published its second set of accounts, so Tim Coghlan, MD of Braunston Marina and an ex-City financial man, had a chat with James Froomberg, chairman of BWML and commercial director of BW.

This is the first of a two-part interview TC: The British Waterways (BW) marina operation in one form or another has been running for some time now - in fact longer than the Second World War. The major acquisitions were in early 2000 with Sawley, Priory and White Bear Marinas - which your then chief executive Dave Fletcher commented to me at the time were "the best investment BW has ever made".
