Largs Yacht Haven, part of the Yacht Haven Group, which owns and operates 3000 berths around the UK, is forging ahead with an investment programme that reflects the steady demand for more berths and leisure marine facilities in the West of Scotland.

Ross has recently graduated from Southampton Solent University with a degree in Maritime Leisure Management to add to his IT degree. He comes with a wealth of sailing experience having worked for seven seasons as a dinghy, windsurfer and RIB instructor at sportscotland National Watersports Centre on Cumbrae.

The new marina bridges, constructed by Varis Engineering in Forres, replace their original 22 year old predecessors. The installation forms part of the current investment programme, which also includes the surfacing of the visitor car park and the installation of a new high speed diesel pump (see BB passim).
