Sail Ventures to larger premises

Sail Ventures Ltd, which has pioneered new yacht building techniques at its East Cowes yard, has moved to larger premises at Medina Yard Cowes, writes Iain Sutherland.
The move comes just six months after Sail Ventures set up on the Isle of Wight with the help of the Isle of Wight Economic Partnership.
The company makes the Express 40 yacht using advanced composites and is currently building the sixth. Managing director Paul Metcalf said the company expects to double its workforce and capacity over the next year.
