MDL takeover bid
MDL’s chairman, Robert Iliffe, put in a bid to buy the remainder of the MDL shares not already owned by his company, Yattenden Investments. His bid valued MDL at £31.2m.

Marine Projects No 1
The latest ICC Business Ratio report had Marine Projects (Plymouth) named as the UK’s biggest boatbuilder with sales almost double those of its nearest rival, Fairline. Avon was in third place and Sunseeker wasn’t mentioned.
