US Powerboat sales down

The December version of Info-Link’s Bellwether Report suggests the combined 15ft plus powerboat segment in the Bellwether states finished the year down about 8%.
However, once all the states report, it looks like the year will finish down somewhere in the 6% to 8% range, the company reported.
While the ski boat and PWC segments showed signs of growth early on, they only managed to finish even with last year, according to Info-Link.
‘The only types of boats that outperformed last year were the big ones,’ said Jesse Wells, Info-Link director of sales & marketing.
