Based in Lymington, VersaDock International will warehouse product to service UK and European retail business, although larger overseas orders will be shipped directly from VersaDock's US facility in St Petersburg, Florida.

The new company was set up following the success of a two-year pilot distributor scheme in the UK. The directors of the new company will be Roy Ahern, president and CEO of VersaDock in the US, Chris Wilson, who will manage the day-to-day operations of VersaDock International, and David Barrow, who already has a well-established international marine distribution business based in Lymington.

Founded in 1997, VersaDock designs and builds modular floating dock systems for marine and residential applications. In 2004, the company released its patented Vfloat Drive On Docking System for small and mid-sized boats.
