Wilkie elected as Scots president
01 Jan 2007
The British Marine Federation (BMF) Scotland AGM was held on November 29 and David Wilkie was elected president, with Maitland Murray as his vice president for the coming year, writes Mike Balmforth.
Eligible members of the committee were re-elected en masse.
It was hoped that a new technology seminar or workshop could be run in the spring to help members keep up to date and suggestions for topics would be welcomed by the BMF Scotland secretary Mike Balmforth (mike@clydemarinepress.co.uk).
The meeting was followed by David Lewin's presentation on behalf of National Boat Shows (NBS), which gave members present a comprehensive briefing on the changes to look forward to at the forthcoming show at ExCeL.
