Wroxham appoints Walton

Norwich-based Wroxham Marine, manufacturers of Sheerline
Motor Cruisers, has appointed Walton Marine as its new agents, writes Debbie
Cowan.
Sheerline Motor Cruisers are traditionally crafted, personally built, luxury motor cruisers with varying configurations to suit all inland waters, rivers and estuaries.
‘We want to generate local interest in our boats as we don’t sell many boats locally. At the moment our biggest market is on the Thames, but we are looking to increase our sales throughout the UK and also in Ireland and France,’ said James Applegate of Wroxham Marine. ‘Walton Marine operates from a lot of sites and can show our boats over a much wider area.’
A family-run business, established in 1995 by Peter Applegate, Wroxham Marine bought the Falcon range and Capriole and Stelco and moved to Stelco’s site at Thorpe Marina, Thorpe St Andrew in Norwich in 2003.
