Tory triumph turns tide?
Hopes were high that the 1992 General Election win for the Conservatives on April 9 would turn the economy away from the damaging recession.
Among the industry figures polled on the subject by BB, Peter Thomas of Westerly. Robert Braithwaite of Sunseeker, Richard Belfrage of Nautech, IvanSteele of Aqua-Marine and Paul Redwood of International Paint, all expressed cautious optimism.
