The course is designed to reduce disputes and rejection of craft by purchasers and is aimed at those who have responsibility for the legal issues surrounding brokerage and retail, but is equally suitable for junior boat sales and brokerage staff.

This course is ideal for BMF members who will wish to comply with the new BMF Code of Practice and will be presented by Nigel John of the BMF, along with Angus McLeod of Wright Johnston and Mackenzie.

Delegates will get copies of all notes and presentations from the course, as well as an 80 page course manual which will act as a reference guide for day to day work and a sample set of BMF standard documents.

The course, which costs £145 for members and £220 for non-members, is being held at the Glasgow Audi Conference and Events Centre, Hillington Road, Glasgow G52 4UB on June 14, 2007.

The course will start at 09:30 and finish by approximately 16:30. Enquiries and bookings to Liv Whetmore at the BMF – telephone 01784 22363 or email LWhetmore@britishmarine.co.uk
